Once again Alexander McQueen struck the fashion world with his talent & complex mind. The Spring Ready-To-Wear 2010 collection took a new turn into the future. The models looked like they were wrapped in reptile skin and the shoes! Those shoes! It was nothing what I have ever seen, anywhere!!! It reminded me of Aliens but in a fashionable way. I am very curious to know whether they are comfortable, because honestly they do not look comfortable at all. This is where Fashion is Art, because this is not about creating pieces for our everyday lives- this is something monumental that can be displayed in Museums.
The details are as insane. The thought of how many hours it took to create the entire collection.....The detailed pieces, the careful ruffles, the outstanding prints, the graciousness of the tight material...I could really go on.
McQueen keeps on jumping over the fence of expectations...every collection is like no other collection, and he is a man who believes strong in his concepts- he is truly a genius.
