A Fashion Show in general takes not as long as you need to prepare for it. The entire season goes into a collection, and many hours go before the actual show, and the show itself passes you by like the wind.
Either way, I love it! I love the energy backstage, the hassle, the laughs, the swan like girls chatting away...I also do enjoy the adrenalin you get backstage.
Every model has her 'dresser' - that's a person who helps her with putting on the clothes and taking it off. If a model has to walk out 2 or 3 times with different looks, she has to work super fast. So does the dresser. You need to know where are the zippers, where are the clips on the shoes, where are the buttons to unbutton because your model in a minute and a half has to be back with the new look strolling the catwalk. SO yes, this does give me a rush.
You need to have a sharp ear for any last minute changes (which always happen), sharp eye, and fast hands.
